Hill House by Andrew Maynard Architects
Melbourne-based studio Andrew Maynard Architects have designed this unique contemporary home entitled "Hill House" located in the suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The project features a cantilevered unit which sits on top of the ground level structure, an artificial hill which conceals large open-plan areas. The cantilevered element is sympathetic to the changing angles of the sun throughout the year and acts as a sun shield to the enormous pivoting glass door below.
